Making Brooches

Making Brooches

I am making brooches because don’t have many in my online shop. Only one at the time of writing this post! Such a popular piece of jewellery, I really don’t know why I have not made more of this lovely accessory in the past.

Well that is definitely changing this week. Work is in progress to get an enamelled range crafted this week. Peterborough Artists Open Studios starts at the week-end and I think that will be a good place to introduce my brooches to the world. And next week I will get them added to the online shop too.

SKDC’s cultural plans include support for the creative sector and the promotion of those who live in the district and work in the industry.

The outdoor exhibition features profiles of 32 artists and creatives from across the SKDC area and art forms are as diverse as upholstery, stained glass, painting, graphic design and copper work.

Grateful thanks to Stamford Arts Centre, Guildhall Arts Centre, South Kesteven District Council, Art Pop Up & the amazing Jo Dobbs for making this happen.
