Individually hand-crafted Jewellery by Shalini made in Stamford, Lincolnshire.

A long time ago I bought a necklace and said it was often difficult to get something unique at a reasonable price. I am from India where individually hand-crafted jewellery is available to buy to suit any budget and I was quite used to indulging in my love for bling! My husband Dave said, “You could do that! Why don’t you make your own?” Famous last words indeed!

And that’s how Jewellery by Shalini was born. I started with wire wrapping and then progressed to working with sheet metal. Most of my work these days is in copper, a metal I just love because it is so versatile and bold.
