Mismatched Copper Earrings
Copper Earrings made from small corner pieces of copper sheet which was fold formed for another design project.
NO your eyes are not deceiving you, the earrings are not identical 🙂 Sometimes I like to wear mismatched earrings and earrings that complement each other but are not the same. I am sure there are more people like me out there?
I textured the triangles exactly the same but then shaped them so the dots are on the convex surface on one earring, and concave on the other. It was intentional.
The pieces of copper were textured using hammers and dapping tools, given a slight curve and then an antique finish.
Earrings length is approximately 6 cm from top of the ear-wire. The copper component is 3.5 cm x 1.7 cm. Ear-wires are Sterling Silver
