Copper Brooch made using fold forming and texturing techniques
I have two trays on my workbench, one for scraps and one for finished, unused textured bits and pieces. The flower and leaf had been sitting in tray 2 for a while as they were not used in a framed picture they were originally crafted for. The picture was part of a collaboration with Felt artist Eve Marshall and displayed at Escartists Exhibition in Stamford in October.
Nothing is ever wasted in my studio and I firmly believe that every component has a use, sometimes the wait for the right idea can be a while 🙂 I brazed the two pieces together it makes a lovely little brooch or hat accessory.
Size: 2.2 cm wide x 7 cm long, and it is entirely up to you which way you wear it.
