Carnelian Tumblestone set in Antique Finish Copper
This piece of Carnelian Tumblestone has been set using copper wire and sheet.
This is another new style for setting stones that I have recently started making. I really like it that the setting shows off most of the stone with its natural patterns. and allows light into translucent stones. Some of the designs can be worn either side. I learnt this technique from well known metalsmithing instructor and artist Kim St. Jean.
Approximate Size: Length (including bail): 4.8 cm, Width (at widest point): 2.4 cm.
The pendant will be sent on a simple cotton cord and is a great unisex gift.
Commissions welcome for this style of copper setting pendant using one of your own stones or from our selection.
