Wire Art Picture Winter Forest
Inspired by Dutch Jewellery maker and artist Dini Bruinsma’s watercolour painting Winter Forest I created this wire art Picture using Aluminium Wire, Sand, India Ink and Craft Glue.
The trees are all flat sculptures in soft aluminium wire mounted on a black background then enhanced with sand and painted over with India ink to give a moss, grass, soil and snow feel. Similar techniques that we use for our wire tree sculptures, just done flat instead of free standing.
Dimensions: 15 inch wide x 12 inch tall. Wall Mountable.
This is the Original painting by lovely Dini which inspired me to try something new, something different!
