Work in Progress: Wood Mounts for Enamelled Tiles

Repair and re-mount of 3 Somewhere Near Stamford series enamelled copper tiles.

– First coat of Hampshire Sheen Intrinsic Colour black waiting to dry.
– I will add 2nd coat later this evening and it will ready to mount the tiles.
– Then I will give it a coat of black bison wax.

Now I am going to tidy up the tiles and repair the cracks in enamel. Hopefully these will be ready to go back in the shop by end of the week.

Repair, Refurbish, Enhance, Improve

All part if the continued learning process.
