Waste Not Want Not series: Somewhere near Stamford 02
Somewhere near Stamford 02 is my attempt to capture the fields, hedgerows and scenes we come across during walks with our dogs.

We walk our dogs Taj and Manali in fields near Stamford, the town where I live. The hedgerows we see in the fields are beautiful and colourful and keep changing colours throughout the year.
The “Somewhere near Stamford” series captures my impressions of these colours and scenes using copper sheet, enamel powder and glass beads.
This scene on copper has been mounted on a piece of recycled pallet wood by my husband Dave who works with wood, wire and rocks. Some of his work is listed in my online shop here.
Somewhere near Stamford 02 Size: 14 x 14 cm square. This wall mountable picture has a string at the back. If you prefer you can display it using a small plate holder or stand. This would work well for displaying on the mantelpiece or window-sill.
Enamelled Copper Doodles inspired by the fields & hedgerows we see during “Ws” with Mr Taj & Miss Manali.
I am really having a lot of fun with enamel. My new enamelling kiln has added a whole new dimension to my work.
