One-Off Ruby Enamelled Copper Pipe Pendant SHADOWS
Individually hand forged Copper Pipe Pendant SHADOWS 1 made from recycled copper pipe.
I used a variety of texturing and air chasing techniques to create my salvaged copper pipe jewellery. Each piece is organic, bold and really does make a statement! I have added Ruby red translucent glass enamel to show off the lovely craters, hills and valleys and accentuate the shadows in this piece. It is like the lunar landscape isn’t it? Most of air-chasing does create a moon like texture on the pieces and that’s why I love creating pieces using this technique. Each one is a one off!
The pendant was then given an antique finish using liver of sulphur. This pendant comes with a long handmade copper chain with little Garnet beads. The chain is 24 inches long.
Bespoke orders welcome. As with any hand-crafted design each piece will have its individual look depending on the way the hammer hits the metal. I have a range of colourful glass enamel that can be added to these pendants. Do contact me to discuss options and variations.
